Mendeley -> Heliyon ?

そのうち詳しいことが発表されるのかもしれないけど、Mendeleyのブログに超気になることが書いてあったのでメモ。

#MDOD15 というイベントのレポートのなかに、

Heliyon Submission Channel


Mendeley is launching the first journal on it’s new submission channel. “Heliyon is the perfect journal to introduce this new pillar of Mendeley. It’s innovative in every sense, cross-discipline and, most importantly, open access” says Paul Foeckler, Co-founder and Integration Director of Mendeley. Our aim is to help people publish in a seamless way connecting relevant stages of their workflow and accelerate the process of making and disseminating new discoveries.

とある。さらっと読み飛ばしそうになったが何を言ってるのか意味が分からない。探してみてもあまり関連情報が見当たらない。イベントの中継ツイートくらい。このスライド見たいぞー。


Mendeleyに"submission channnel"というのができてそれでHeliyon（Elsevierのオープンアクセスジャーナル）に論文を投稿できるっていうこと？？

Mendeleyでなくてもいいんだけど、論文の検索、メタデータ・本文管理、論文の執筆、投稿、査読までをトータルに行えるような integrated research environment とでも言うようなシステムはむかしから夢想していて。それに一歩近づくようなはなしなのかなあ。

【追記】id:tzhaya さんから、Elsevierのこのウェビナー（39:21以降）で話があったと教えていただいた。Submission workflowとの統合として、"Integrated with Mendeley"と"Connect to Evise"が2015年第四四半期〜2016年前半にリリースと書いてある。スクリーンショットだけ見ていると、Heliyonに投稿するときにMendeleyにログインしてファイルをアップロードしてという認証まわりだけの話に見えるけど、口頭ではもっといろいろあるような語りぶり（"allow users, researchers within Mendeley .... to submit papers ..."）。いまいち自信なし。

# よく考えたらEditorial Managerなどの投稿システムのShibboleth対応ってのも課題としてありうるか。
